The Food Communities Network (FCN), launched in 2020, is a new bilingual pan-Canadian network focused on sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences around reducing food insecurity in municipalities and communities across Canada and on Indigenous Territories.

FCN, supported by the Centre, was designed to create a space where knowledge can be shared with a goal of documenting best practices and surfacing policy initiatives that can be replicated across communities to have greater impact. FCN is building a network of practitioners working on local food security policies within large cities, smaller rural areas and Indigenous communities.
